🦃 Dawson Elementary Merry Turkey Trot Update! 🦃
Due to expected rain next Wednesday and Thursday, our PE team has decided to postpone the Turkey Trot to a later date.
While we are sorry for the inconvenience, our students have worked hard preparing for this event, and we want them to enjoy it to the fullest — with a Merry twist! 💛🖤
Turkey Trot shirts WILL go home this Thursday with your child.
Feel free to spend some time coloring them over the break if you wish!
📅 New Event Date:
Wednesday, December 17th
⏰ 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Half day — students head out at 8:30 AM)
📍 Location: Field directly across from Elementary parking
🎄 Attire: Turkey Trot shirt, white shirt, or Christmas shirt
Parking will be available at the HS Tennis Court Parking Lot, and concessions will be open.

Debido a la lluvia prevista para el próximo miércoles y jueves, nuestro equipo de educación física ha decidido posponer el Merry Turkey Trot Extravaganza para una fecha posterior.
Lamentamos cualquier inconveniente, pero nuestros estudiantes han trabajado duro para este evento y queremos que lo disfruten al máximo — ¡con un toque navideño! 💛🖤
Las camisetas del Turkey Trot SE enviarán a casa este jueves con su hijo/a.
¡Pueden colorearlas durante las vacaciones si desean!
📅 Nueva Fecha del Evento:
Miércoles, 17 de diciembre
⏰ 9:00 a. m. – 11:30 a. m. (Medio día — los estudiantes salen a las 8:30)
📍 Ubicación: Campo frente al estacionamiento de Elementary
🎄 Vestimenta: Camiseta del Turkey Trot, camiseta blanca o camiseta navideña
🎯 Propósito: Animar a nuestros pequeños Bulldogs a tomar decisiones saludables y mantenerse activos
El estacionamiento estará disponible en el estacionamiento de las canchas de tenis de High School, y habrá concesiones abiertas.
