We are thrilled to announce that this incredible group has earned all 1’s from all six judges in UIL Concert AND Sightreading for the FOURTH consecutive year! 🥁🎺
This outstanding accomplishment continues a remarkable tradition of excellence for the Dawson band program. Receiving straight Division I ratings from every judge is no small feat, and these students rose to the challenge with talent, preparation, and dedication.
According to the records available, this marks four straight years of sweepstakes-level performances, further cementing the Dawson Bulldog Band’s place in school history. We couldn’t be more proud of their hard work, discipline, and passion for music.
A special shoutout to our senior band members, whose leadership and commitment have helped build one of the most successful chapters in Dawson band history. Your legacy will inspire future Bulldog musicians for years to come.
And a huge thank you to our band director Dr. Brack May, along with our students, staff, and supporters, for continuing the tradition of excellence in the Dawson band program.
