The Dawson ISD Board of Education has approved funding for a new full-color LED sign and a new top cabinet sign at the “Welcome to Dawson” sign located at Highway 31 and Main Street.
The existing LED display has not been operational for several years, and the top cabinet sign was damaged during a storm last year. This project will revitalize one of the main entrances to our community while providing a modern way to celebrate the accomplishments of our Dawson Bulldogs and share important district and community announcements.
The new sign will help beautify the gateway into Dawson while serving as another way to keep our community informed and connected.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Dawson ISD Board of Education for their continued commitment to our students, staff, and community. Their support makes projects like this possible, and we look forward to seeing this exciting improvement completed by the end of August.
