Dawson ISD is proud to announce that we have been awarded a $200,207 Jobs and Education for Texans (JET) grant to expand career and technical education opportunities for our students!
Through this grant, Dawson ISD will partner with Navarro College to provide training for 40 students pursuing careers as licensed practical and licensed vocational nurses.
Administered by the Texas Workforce Commission, the JET grant program helps schools purchase equipment to develop or improve career and technical education programs that prepare students for high-demand careers.
This investment will provide valuable opportunities for students to develop career-focused skills and pursue pathways into the healthcare field. We are grateful for this support as we continue preparing our students for success beyond graduation.
