Review the Soils Unit - Part 1 notes attached below. When done create a model soil profile using whatever materials you choose as long as you can see the three major components (top soil, subsoil, and parent material) but you may create all six horizons if you choose! You may layout materials on a piece of paper or other surface, glue items to a piece of paper, layer items in a glass or jar, make a sort of dirt pudding, etc......it is up to you and your own creativity! All I ask is that you label the layers you create, take a picture of your project, and turn in the picture of your project here, on Google Classroom....do not email or share them with me!
