Your assignment is to make a fishing guide....for chefs/everyday cooks! Instructions are in the document attached, you may use Google docs or Google slides to create your manual. You will have until next Wednesday, April 29th to complete this assignment.

If we were in school, we would end the Dairy unit with a cook lab making ice cream in a bag (which some of you did during our first weeks out). For our "cook lab" grade, we are going to do a recipe share! You are to submit one recipe in which a dairy product (milk, cheese, yogurt, etc.) is the primary ingredient.....but no vanilla ice cream! I already gave you that one! Simply type or copy and paste your recipe into a Google doc (with your name in the file as I may combine these recipes and share with the class) and submit here in Google Classroom....do not email the file or "share" it with me.

Research Covid-19's effect on the dairy industry and answer the questions on the attached Google Doc. One suggested video is one made by agriculture advocate Courtenay DeHoff (link below), but there are numerous news articles available on the web as well. When done, please submit through Google Classroom, do not "share" or email the document.

First let me say that I hate that we cannot do this in class as it always gets super heated! You are going to personally "debate" two different dairy topics (Raw Milk vs Pasteurized Milk & The Dairy Industry vs. The Environmental Protection Agency). You will list three reasons or view points supporting each side of the debates and then explain on which side of the debate you would fall if given the choice based on the research you have performed...keep an open mind! Each debate assignment are in separate Google forms below.
