Assignment

Hey everyone,

I hope you are all doing alright during all of this, I miss you all and miss everything we do. I have done my best to make this assignment something you can hopefully find some enjoyment in and with any luck still learn something (or at the very least hear some amazing people playing the same instruments that you do). The United States Army Field Bands are all hard at work trying to keep live music going even during the craziness that we find ourselves in.
This is a weekly assignment which means you will have one for each week that we are out of school. At present that means you will have one for April 6-12, April 13-19, and April 20-26

That being said, your assignment is as follows:
At some point during the week go to either of the following:
They are ultimately the same thing, one may load better than the other or you may want to dive into the archives which seems to be easier on           the youtube page.

Listen to one of the concerts (or tune in for a live one if you can catch it). If you are looking through the archives the ones you should be looking for are around an hour long, you are welcome to listen to the longer ones if you wish. You can listen to it in the background while you work on other homework or invite your family to sit around and listen to one with you...they are fun for all ages! (if not a little corny at times) And before you ask, no you do not have to listen to just band, there are choirs, instrument ensembles, mixed ensembles, and a lot of others that you can pick from depending on your modd.

Once you have finished a concert I want you to simply answer the following questions,
1) Which concert did you watch? (feel free to also send me the link)
2) What did you like and/or find most interesting
3) What did you enjoy the most about the concert?
4) How are you doing?
In total if you actually put some thought into your answers you will get a page(ish). Put some thought into your answers, relate it to other stuff we have talked about, there are a tons of things that you could talk about I'm sure.

I miss you guys. Hang in there, we will get through this and get back to making music again. Stay safe everyone.
