Description
The Elementary Special Education Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing individualized instruction to support students with disabilities. This role requires a compassionate and skilled educator who can create a positive learning environment, collaborate with staff and parents, and ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines. This position may include coaching opportunities depending on campus needs and candidate qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet student needs
-Provide differentiated instruction and modifications to support diverse learning styles
-Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
-Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed
-Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal special education regulations
-Foster a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
-Valid Texas Special Education Certification (required)
-Experience working with students with special needs (preferred)

-Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
